Extended Emergency Closure
In case of emergency closure of the Biomolecular Core Lab for an extended period of time, our colleagues at the University of Delaware Sequencing Center will provide sequencing (both full and run only) services to AIDHC investigators. Please note that the UD sequencing facility is not CLIA certified.
For Sequencing, please follow the steps below:
- Label your samples neatly and legibly. Keep in mind that items tend to shift
during travel. Please make sure that if your tubes get out of order, the person
on the other end can easily place them back in order.
- Complete a BCL submission sheet. Include your email address so that you
can receive you results electronically.
- FedEx your samples and submission sheet to:
- Contact Bruce Kingham. Let him know to expect a sample delivery.

Oligonucleotide orders - please follow the steps below:
- Oligo orders will be available for pickup in RC1 room 214. Oligo's will be in their original air freight packaging, usually located near the sink.
- Sign and date the packing slip.
- Leave the packing slip for the BCL staff.
- Remove and take your oligo's and spec sheets.
