NCBI Home page for the National Center for Biotechnology Information of the NIH. Site has links to the databases and tools of NCBI, including, but is not limited to, PubMed, BLAST, OMIM, and Books.
GenAtlas This is a comprehensive database of human genes maintained at the Universite Rene Descartes - Paris. See the help page for more information about the database.
GeneCards GeneCards is maintained by the Weizmann Institute of Science. This database contains human genes and their products, functions and involvement in disease.
Ensembl Ensembl is a joint project between EMBL-EBI and the Sanger Institute. This site currently has information on genes from 39 species, including rat and mouse.
DAVID The Database for Annotation, Visualization and Integrated Discovery (DAVID) is a bioinformatics resource that resides on the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID), NIH. This resource provides several useful functional annotation tools, including identification of enriched biological themes and grouping of genes into functionally-related clusters.

GEO The Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) is maintained by NCBI. Geo is a searchable repository for gene expression microarray data.
ArrayExpress ArrayExpress is maintained by the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI). This is a public repository for microarray data.
GXD Gene Expression Database (GXD) contains gene expression information from the laboratory mouse. This is part of Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) which also includes databases with genes, genome features, genome maps, phenotypes, alleles, disease models, recombinase (cre) specificiy, functional annotation (GO), biochemical pathways, strains, SNPs, polymorphisms, mammalian orthology and tumor biology. MGI is supported by The Jackson Laboratory.
SMD Stanford Microarray Database has raw and normalized microarray data. Results from published studies are available here.
